Tim Green, PhD

I’ve been an educator for more than 30 years — first as a K–12 teacher and administrator, and now as a professor of educational technology and teacher education. Throughout my career, I’ve authored books, presented and published research on instructional design, educational change, online teaching and learning, and technology integration. I co-hosted a podcast that aired for 10 years. I’ve provided professional development, training, and program evaluations for schools, districts, county departments of education, non-profits, and colleges and universities throughout the world.

At this stage in my career, I work mostly with teachers and faculty who are new or faces challenges in their teaching. I know that teaching isn’t easy, which is why I focus on helping educators improve their practice and thrive by providing support and resources grounded in practical experience and research.

The CORE Framework I developed is at the center of my work. Over time, I’ll share blog posts that explore different aspects of the framework in practice, along with resources to support it. I’m also launching a co-hosted podcast, Teaching Isn’t Easy, which will bring these ideas to life through conversations and stories from the field.
